The kilt, a pleated classic

Many of you have been asking for a work skirt for years, and now she is finally here: TYRA! The latest addition to the Operose family.

Made from the same durable cotton fabric you know from many of our other garments, and designed with loops that allow you to add the pockets you need. The kilt is airy and comfortable, making it perfect for the summer months, or even spring and autumn if you tend to run warm.

• One deep front pocket on the right side
• One angled back pocket on the right side
• Belt loops designed to fit a belt up to 4 cm wide
• Hammer loop at the back, also useful for hanging tools or gloves
• Visible topstitching in a lighter contrasting colour
• Adjustable waist with three size settings

Adjustable waist

The kilt can be adjusted without elastic and without bulky gathers.

Simply choose which buttons to fasten to adjust both the waist and hip measurement. You can make the kilt up to 4 cm wider or 4 cm narrower, giving you a total adjustment range of 8 cm to suit however you feel most comfortable today.

Accessories and options

The detachable pockets are sold separately and can be attached either to your belt or directly to the belt loops. This allows you to choose whether you want one pocket, two pockets, or no pockets at all.

Size and fit

The kilt is available in combined sizes from S to XL. Please refer to the size guide to find the right size for you.

• Compare your body measurements with those shown in the size guide.
• If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the one that best matches your waist measurement.
• The kilt measures 62 cm in length in size S.

Care instructions, materials and production

• The kilt can be washed at temperatures up to 60°C, although we encourage washing at lower temperatures whenever possible to reduce environmental impact.
• The woven fabric is made from 100% cotton and is produced in Turkey. It is certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class 1. Read more about our fabrics HERE.

The model in the studio photographs has a waist measurement of 71 cm and a hip measurement of 92 cm and is wearing size S.

Delivery

The kilt is dispatched from our atelier within 1–5 working days.

Fabric and compatibility

The kilt is made from a durable 100% cotton fabric, the same fabric used in many of our other workwear garments, including the Wilja, Felicia, Jenny and Ava trousers, as well as the Johanna work jacket and the Maria apron.
